So I quit taking the birth control. Not completely, I'm just starting later in the month so "that time" won't interfere too very much with our Honeymoon. And I've notice a change.
I'm horny.
A lot.
F is liking this change, what guy wouldn't? But it got me to thinking, Is part of the "birth control" pill's job killing your libido? I don't ever remember reading anything about this being an effect, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Has anybody else experienced this randy charge once you stopped taking the pill?????

I stopped taking birth control when I found out that I can still get a girl pregnant if I take it. It's the girl that has to take it.
YES! It does kill your libido. My dad is a doctor, and this is going to sound weird, but I've talked to him about it. And I found it so ironic that we take the pill so we can have more sex, but it makes us want to have less of it. Have you tried an IUD?! Greatest thing ever. Women/doctor's used to think it was only for women who were done having children, but that's not the case anymore. It is wonderful. And my best friend and cousin got it too, and love it as well. You even pretty much stop getting your period which is even awesomer (and normal). Check out Mirena if you get a chance.
Try going on an anti-depressant and then being married to a guy you're not attracted. Talk about a buzz kill....
